Kazan (Japanese Cuisine)

Kazan is a Japanese restaurant located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. It was awarded with a Michelin Star in 2014 and has maintained it until today. Hence, Kazan is one of the top restaurants of the Islands with a well-served fame due to the careful choice of raw material and the team of chefs. The Head Waiter of Kazan has agreed to answer our questions. We hope you find it helpful.

Q: How do you understand quality and which actions do you carry out to deliver it accurately?
A: Quality is the most important factor! Our mission is to have and deliver the best product because that is what our customers demand. So we deliver a good service (e.g. organized, correct, and amazing) always with a smile. We always explain the dishes and help our customers to feel comfortable, happy and satisfied. I have to say that we also put a lot on effort on those that come or try Japanese food for the first time.

Q: What is the principal advantage that the restaurant receives from putting effort on quality management and customer service?
A: The principal advantage is that we really have happy and satisfied customers, and happy clients always return.

Q: Do you have implemented any mechanism of quality management, which goals does it help to achieve?
A: We have implemented ISO 22000 and HACCP; it helps us to control the excellence of the product and the service.

Q: Do you use frequent mechanisms of communication to obtain feedback from clients about the product and the service that the restaurant offers? Which ones?
A: We ask briefly about their level of satisfaction and happiness at the end of the meal but we do not implement solid mechanisms. We try to deliver the best service so they can recommend us on social media (Facebook, Instagram and TripAdvisor) and give positive reviews about the restaurant.

Thank you for your collaboration, Kazan!
