TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence honors accommodations, restaurants and attractions that consistently receive great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. These establishments can be located all over the world and to continually deliver superior customer experience.

TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Seal

To determine recipients TripAdvisor use user-generated content (i.e. review ratings, overall rating and quantity of reviews). Then to obtain the certificate the business must maintain an overall rating of at least 4/5 points; have a minimum number of reviews; and have been listed on the website for at least 12 months.

Once a business receives the Certificate of Excellence, a window sticker will be provided to the establishment to announce that it is a trusted business to walk-in-clients. Most importantly, the online presence of the restaurant will also be impacted by the Certificate of Excellence. TripAdvisor reports that 75% of users are more likely to patronize a business with a TripAdvisor endorsement.
